The 2014 Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo is said to make its public debut next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, being expected to follow the success of the B3 unveiled in Geneva last March.
Alpina’s newest creation will be named the D3 Bi-Turbo and the model will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on the 10th of September. The model in question is said to be offered with a four-cylinder engine sourced and modified from the 325d, for people who prefer lower fuel consumption instead of high torque, but this will get a rear-wheel drive setup, in standard, or an all-wheel drive system, available as an option.
The most popular engine to equip the new Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo will definitely be the 3.0 liter twin-turbo unit, which will produce a total output of 350 HP (257 kW) and 700 Nm of toque (516 lb-ft). This should be enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in less than 5 seconds. Additional details on the brand new 2014 Alpina D3 Bi-Turbo are limited for the moment and will be announced next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
