Audi has recently announced its plans to introduce the 2014 A3 g-tron next week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
After showing us the battery-powered electric version of the A3, named the A3 e-tron, along with the A3 e-tron Plug-In Hybrid, time has come for the German based automaker to pull the wraps off a brand new variant of the popular A3, the Audi A3 g-tron. According to the car manufacturer, the Audi A3 g-tron stands for “natural gas” and the model will be officially presented to the public next week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, before hitting the European showrooms at the end of this year.
Natural gas-powered cars aren’t something new but it’s a rarity to see one in this segment, where “luxury” is the key word and the A3 should rival that brand new and hot A-Class, made by Mercedes-Benz, amongst others. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the 2014 Audi A3 g-tron for the moment and we should better wait for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show to officially open its gates for the media on the 5th of March, in order to find out more on the model.
