The German based automaker Audi won’t be launching the new A3 Sportback in the United States so the model will only go on sale in Europe early next year.
The new generation of the Audi A3 Sportback is ending up in our news once again and after the model has been officially presented to the public on the 27th of September, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, we now find out that it will only go on sale on the Old Continent. The automaker didn’t provide a reason for this action yet but it’s believed that Audi probably thinks that the new A3 Sportback won’t sell over-seas.
The new generation of the Audi A3 Sportback is offered, on the Old Continent, at first, with one TDI and two TFSI engines, but more units will become available later on. Audi says that the new A3 Sportback will get the 1.6 TDI, the 2.0 TDI with 320 Nm, the 2.0 TDI with 184 HP and 380 Nm, the 1.2 TFSI with 105 HP and 175 Nm, a 1.4 TFSI with 122 HP and 200 Nm, a 1.4 TFSI with 140 HP and 250 Nm and a 1.8 TFSI with 180 HP and 250 Nm.
