The new Honda Concept B has been recently introduced during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
The Honda Concept B is the carmaker’s newest creation as it was recently introduced at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, in a premiere. The model in question is representing a preview for a future five-door production model, aimed exclusively towards the Chinese automotive market. This will basically be a compact hatchback, with an affordable price, aimed towards a young audience, which should make its way onto the market in the next couple of years.
“The Concept B is a concept model for a 5-door model developed exclusively for the Chinese market. An advanced and cool-looking exterior design and excellent practicality are realized in a compact hatchback style that is popular among young generations in China”, says the company in its official press release.
The production model will be getting a FUNTEC hybrid powertrain which will make it more fuel-efficient and more fun to drive than segment rivals equipped only with internal combustion units. As far as the design speaks, the new one-off Honda vehicle has long LED daytime running lights, C-shaped taillights which have been interconnected by a center light bar, a large front grille, cameras instead of the conventional door mirrors, full black tint and some shiny alloy wheels, with a chrome finish.
