The South Korean based automaker Hyundai has officially introduced the new ix25 Concept during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
A new compact crossover is getting ready to be introduced on the market but before the final production variant will be ready, Hyundai is currently showcasing the concept version, during the 2014th edition of the Beijing Motor Show, which is taking place as we speak. The new Hyundai compact crossover will be using the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy and it will become available for order exclusively on the Chinese market.
“Hyundai Motor Company today unveiled a concept model of ‘ix25’ at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, held at the China International Exhibition Center. The sophisticated small-sized SUV, another strategic pillar for Hyundai Motor in the world’s largest auto market, is scheduled to be launched exclusively in China later this year”, said the company in the official press release.
The new Hyundai ix25 Concept stands at 4,270 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,630 mm in height, riding on a 2,590 mm long wheelbase. The model has an aggressive look but it is easily recognizable as a Hyundai vehicle. Power is coming from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine. The production version of the crossover will be making its way onto the market by the end of this year.
