The new Lincoln MKX Concept has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
Lincoln is making a first step into offering a new global SUV, over the next couple of years, with the official unveil of the MKX Concept. The model in question has seen daylight for the first time at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show and it can be easily differentiated thanks to its aggressive stance, short rear overhang, split wing grille, LED headlights and 21-inch alloy wheels.
“The Lincoln Motor Company today unveiled the MKX Concept at Auto China 2014 in Beijing. The Lincoln MKX Concept hints at a global SUV that will become the third of four all-new Lincoln vehicles due by 2016. It is designed to capture the attention of consumers worldwide”, said the company in its official press release.
Ford’s luxury brand hasn’t released any official images with the interior design of the MKX Concept but the large panoramic glass is expected to make its way on the final production version. No details on what’s hiding beneath the hood of the one-off model have been released either but chances are we will see it again, in a future automotive event, probably in Paris, this October, so more info will be released then.
