Volkswagen has officially introduced the new Golf Edition Concept during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, in a premiere.
The German based automaker Volkswagen is currently celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Golf and what better way to do it than by introducing a new concept car, at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, which is taking place as we speak.
“With an exclusive concept car, the Golf Edition, Volkswagen is celebrating at the Auto China the 40th anniversary of the Golf, which has been successful around the globe. The anniversary edition’s equipment was extensively customized”, as the company is saying in its official press release.
The new Volkswagen Golf Edition Concept is looking quite amazing and it has some special badging on its body, 19-inch alloy wheels and matte chrome side mirror caps. The interior design of the model is basically the same as in a regular Golf, except for the two-tone leather seats with diamond pattern stitching, the illuminated door sill plates, the piano black accents or the genuine wood trim. Volkswagen has no plans of putting the new Golf Edition Concept into production for the moment.
