Volkswagen has officially presented, during the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, the facelifted version of the Touareg.
The popular German SUV, the Touareg, has received some updates as the model in question was seen for the first time in Beijing. The front end design of the Touareg has now received larger headlights, a deeper radiator grille, a new front bumper and bi-xenon (which is standard across the range). The rear is bringing a new bumper with a new diffuser, incorporating the tailpipes, along with the LED rear fog lights. The mirror caps have been redesigned and fresh exterior colors are being offered across the range.
The V6 TDI engines of the 2015 Volkswagen Touareg have been updated too and they now comply with the Euro 6 emission standards, thanks to the use of the SCR-DPF catalytic converter module with AdBlue. The 3.0 liter V6 TDI entry-level is still offering 204 HP while the previous 245 HP unit is now good for 258 HP. Other items available for the updated Touareg include the online services like the Street View, Google Earth or Online Traffic Information. The 2015 Touareg will arrive in dealerships this summer and pricing is yet to be announced.
