2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible

The very first images with the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible have recently leaked revealing the model ahead of its next year debut.

After the brand new 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed Coupe has been officially presented to the public during the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year, its brother, the Convertible, is now ending up in our news. The images posted below seem to be official but Bentley’s intention is to keep the model into the shadows for the moment. The Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible is getting a prominent front fascia, elliptical exhaust tips, a sport tuned suspension, a luxurious interior and 21-inch alloy wheels.

Just like the coupe version, the 2014 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible is coming with the same 6.0 liter W12 twin-turbo engine, which is producing a total output of 625 HP (460 kW) and 800 Nm of torque (590 lb-ft). The unit will be mated to an eight speed automatic transmission which will send power to the all-wheel drive system. The newest model in Bentley’s lineup is expected to be unveiled next month during the 2012 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit but no official details have been announced yet.
