The brand new 2014 BMW 328d can return 32 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA’s fuel economy website, for the rear-wheel drive sedan.
The German based automaker BMW didn’t release any official fuel economy figures for the 2014 328d, but the diesel powered vehicle is said to return 32 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway, on the rear-wheel drive sedan version. The mileage ratings have been posted on the EPA fuel economy website. The brand new BMW 328d will arrive in showrooms across the U.S. this autumn and it will be the only diesel vehicle in its class, until the next-gen Mercedes-Benz C-Class will arrive.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 BMW 328d has been officially presented to the public back in March, during the 2013 New York Auto Show. The model is powered by the 2.0 liter diesel engine, following the same path as the 328i, with the 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol unit. The total output is estimated to stand around 180 BHP, and this should allow it to sprint form 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds. Prices for the BMW 328d are said to start at 40,000 USD.
