New rendering images with the upcoming BMW 4-Series Cabrio have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into the final production version of the model.
With the 2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe officially unveiled just a few days ago, rendering artists have found the basis of the 4-Series Cabrio, and the first rendering image with this model, based on the 4-Series Coupe, has hit the web. The BMW 4-Series Cabrio will be officially presented to the public over the next few months, possibly during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September.
The final production version of the 2014 BMW 4-Series Cabrio is expected to be offered in the same 428i and 435i versions as the Coupe, with the first one getting a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged 240 HP (179 kW) and 345 Nm of torque (255 lb-ft) engine, while the other one will get a 3.0 liter six-cylinder unit under its hood, producing a total output of 300 HP (224 kW) and 406 Nm of torque (300 lb-ft). Additional details on the 2014 BMW 4-Series Cabrio are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut.
