The first images with the interior design of the new generation BMW X5 (F15) have recently hit the web.
The German based automaker BMW is already working on the new generation of the X5 for quite some time and the model is almost ready to make its way into dealerships by the end of the year, or in early 2014, but before it will be launched, we can present you with a small photo gallery where its interior design is playing the main role. From start, we can see than the BMW X5 F15’s dashboard is inspired from the one used on the 3-Series F30 and this is now more driver-centric.
The BMW X5 F15 will use a large free-standing navigation/infotainment LCD screen, which seems to be 8.8-inch in size. The model is also expected to use the iDrive Touch system. The new X5 will receive the latest generation of the xDrive all-wheel drive system and some new engine options which will include the 2.0 liter turbo diesel used on the F30 3-Series, along with some other petrol and diesel units. The next BMW X5M is rumored to get a twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine. The new BMW X5 will rider on the X for All architecture, which will be used throughout the entire BMW X range, helping the model loose 150 kg in weight. More details on it remain unknown for the moment.
