The future generation of the BMW X5 has recently leaked all over the web with no camouflage on its body, revealing the lines of the popular SUV.
After it was spied a few times over the past few months, the new generation of the BMW X5 is now ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of two images which are revealing the popular German SUV with no camouflage on its body. The two images posted below are actually representing a 1:18 scale model of the car and the “toy” will go on sale later on this year. This means that the new generation of the X5 is also ready and it might be unveiled by the end of 2013 too.
The new generation of the BMW X5 has been codenamed the F15 and the model will get the latest generation of the xDrive all-wheel drive system, along with new engine options, including the 2.0 liter turbocharged diesel used on the 3-Series F30 too, along with other diesel and petrol units. The X5M will continue to use a twin turbocharged V8 gasoline unit. The 2014 BMW X5 will ride on a new architecture known as “X for All” in-house which will also be used on the whole BMW X range and this will help the model save some 150 kg. Additional details on the 2014 BMW X5 are limited for the moment.
