2014 Buick LaCrosse unveiled ahead of New York debut image

General Motors has just unveiled its new 2014 Buick LaCrosse ahead of New York debut this week – the first exterior and interior update for the LaCrosse.

For 2014 the LaCrosse gets numerous styling changes inside and out, but generally speaking the vehicle looks like the current LaCrosse, now with more LEDs!

Inside, customers will find more luxurious materials, new seats, a redesigned center console and as expected the new IntelliLink system that comes with an 8-inch touch-screen, better customization, improved voice commands and more features including Pandora. The central console now looks cleaner mostly because GM has reduced the overall number of buttons from 17 to just 7. In addition there’s another 8-inch display screen that has taken over the gauge cluster.
2014 LaCrosse will come with four interior color combinations and there is a new Ultra Luxury Interior Package available.

“The warm color combinations, premium interior materials and advanced technology in the 2014 LaCrosse provide the interior environment our discerning luxury customers are seeking,” said Ven Lai, Buick creative designer for color and trim (which brings unique Sangria and Ebony colors to the interior as well as semi-aniline leather seating).

Outside the full-size sedan gets new wing-shaped LED daytime lamps and LED wraparound tail lights and a bi-xenon high-intensity discharge headlight system.

There are no power-train changes for the 2014 LaCrosse.

The full-size sedan will hit dealer showrooms this summer. The new version will be sold in China later this year. GM has sold more than 500,000 LaCrosses worldwide since it was released in 2009.
