The North American based automaker Cadillac has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the 2014 CTS.
After it has leaked a couple of times over these past few days, the brand new 2014 Cadillac CTS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker officially unveiling it. The 2014 Cadillac CTS is coming with some styling cues inspired from the Ciel Concept and the model has new distinctive headlights with LED strips, a “trapped” hood, a rakish windscreen, trapezoidal exhaust tips and a choice of 17-, 18- or 19-inch aluminum wheels.
The cabin of the 2014 Cadillac CTS has been equipped with high quality materials and the model is following the same path as the ATS. The “goodies” list includes carbon fiber or aluminum trim, authentic wood, the CUE infotainment system, heated / ventilated front seats, head-up display, 12-3-inch digital instrument cluster, Automatic Parking Assist, Front and Rear Automatic Braking, Safety Alert, Full Speed Range Adaptive Cruise Control, Panic Brake Assist, Automatic Collision Preparation, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and more.
Power to the 2014 Cadillac CTS is being provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is good for 272 BHP (203 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft), by a 3.6 liter naturally aspirated V6 with 321 BHP (239 kW) and 373 Nm of torque (275 lb-ft) and by a 3.6 liter turbocharged V6, with its 420 BHP (313 kW) and 583 Nm of torque (430 lb-ft). Transmission options include the six- or eight-speed automatic, with RWD standard and AWD offered as an option. The model will enter production this autumn.
