General Motors has recently announced the official price for the 2014 Cadillac ELR, in the United States, where the model will set you back for at least 75,995 USD.
The 2014 Cadillac ELR is now available for order across North America, where the model in question has been recently priced from 75,995 USD, including the 995 USD destination charge but without the government rebates, which will cut off another 7,500 USD. According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Cadillac ELR is actually 41,000 USD more expensive than the 2014 Chevrolet Volt, but it has more equipment than its cousin.
The standard features list includes the CUE infotainment system, the LED headlights and taillights, the Lane Departure Warning System, the Forward Collision Alert, the Safety Alert Seat and some other tweaks. Power to the 2014 Cadillac ELR is powered by a 16.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is sending its juice to a 207 HP (154 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque electric motor. The system is also backed up by a 1.4 liter petrol engine, which is acting as a generator, stepping in once the battery is low. The ELR can travel on electricity alone for more than 300 miles (480 km).
