The North American based automaker Cadillac has released a new set of teaser images with the 2014 ELR, ahead of the model’s public debut during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
After writing about the official spy photo of the 2014 Cadillac ELR which was released just a few days ago, the carmaker is placing the model into the spotlights once again, ahead of its official presentation scheduled for the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, on the 14th of January, with the help of new teaser images which are revealing several exterior panels of the model.
The 2014 Cadillac ELR has been inspired by the Converj Concept and the production model will get an electric motor, which will be backed up by a four-cylinder engine acting like a generator, and a lithium-ion battery. The vehicle will run in electric mode and it will use the conventional engine as a generator when the battery will be low. The Cadillac ELR will enter production this year and rumors are saying that it will be priced from 55,000 USD once it will hit showrooms. Additional details on the 2014 Cadillac ELR will be announced during the 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
