The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently announced its plans to introduce an updated Camaro and the Corvette Convertible during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
According to the car manufacturer, an updated version of the Camaro, which will wear the 2014 model year in its name, will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 New York Auto Show. Chevy didn’t release any extra details on the 2014 Camaro but this might be a first step into producing a new generation of the popular muscle car.
“Chevrolet will showcase a new lineup of 2014 performance cars, including the all-new Corvette Stingray coupe and convertible, all-new SS performance sedan and refreshed Camaro”, as the automaker says in its official press release.
Besides the updated 2014 Camaro, and the SS performance sedan, Chevrolet will also pull the wraps off the brand new Corvette Convertible. The model has already been unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it will now make its U.S. debut. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is powered by the same engine used on the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe, and the model has similar performance. Additional details on these vehicles will be announced during the 2013 New York Auto Show, later on this month.
