The first rendering with the convertible version of the 2014 Camaro Z/28 has made its way onto the web, and it might provide us with a first look into a possible production car.
The North American based automaker Chevrolet didn’t announce its plans to introduce a convertible version of the 2014 Camaro Z/28 just yet, but that doesn’t mean that the model has absolutely no chance of hitting the production line. If it will make its way onto the market eventually, than the 2014 Camaro Z/28 Convertible might look like the model pictured above and it will have a lot of things in common with its solid roof brother.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been officially presented to the public a few weeks ago, during the 2013 New York Auto Show. The muscle car is powered by a massive 7.0 liter LS7 V8, which is good for “at least” 500 BHP (373 kW) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. The unit is mated to a six-speed Tremec transmission. The braking system is provided by Brembo and it has ceramic brake discs. The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will become available at dealerships across the U.S. over the following months and it will go on sale in spring 2014.
