The 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro has been recently unveiled by the car company, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 SEMA Motor Show.
The 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro will offer its future customers the chance of selecting different powerplants, depending on how much speed and power they each want and, of course, on how much money they will spend. The 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro will be produced in just 69 units and each of them will be eligible to compete in the NHRA Stock Eliminator and Super Stock classes.
Chevrolet says that the 2014 COPO Camaro is getting features like the new wheel design, the new subtle graphics design, the solid rear axle, the course drag racing wheels, the new racing seats and some other tweaks, which should make it more appealing to its future customers.
“The COPO Camaro contingent was strong at the first Chevrolet Performance US Nationals in 2013 and we expect an even larger turnout with the new cars in 2014. The new engines will make the racing more exciting and COPO drivers more competitive”, said Jim Campbell, the GM VP of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports.
The 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro will be powered by a 5.7 liter V8 engine, with a 2.9 liter Whipple supercharger, by two different 6.5 liter V8 and by a massive 7.0 liter V8. Additional details on the updated 2014 COPO Camaro are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 SEMA Motor Show, this month.
