2014 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster gets rendered once more

A new rendering with the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first glimpse into the model which will be unveiled in Geneva next week.

The North American based automaker has already announced its plans to introduce a convertible verson of the brand new Chevy Corvette Stingray in Geneva and since then the internet has been invaded by renderings of the model. By far, one of the best rendering has been posted on autoblog.com and it’s showing the rear end of the roadster.

Chevy didn’t announce any details on the Corvette Roadster just yet but as a quick reminder, the regular version is powered by the LT1 6.2 liter V8 engine, coming with CVVT and direct injection and producing a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). This is enough to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. The convertible version of the Corvette will be unveiled next week, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, on the 5th of March.
