GM has introduced the online configurator for the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, so your dream car is getting even closer to you.
Ladies and gentlemen, well more like gentlemen, and even this word doesn’t work to good in the same sentence with the new Corvette Stingray but some of you, well probably most of you, will be glad to find out that the North American based automotive giant General Motors has introduced the live configurator for the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
The guys from Stingray Forums have caught the company’s web designers putting the configurator online last night but it was down a few times and it was missing a lot of features, so if it doesn’t work to well, don’t get mad and smash your monitor, just come back in a few minutes or even a few hours to see what’s new. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray configurator can be accessed here.
The new generation of the Corvette has been officially introduced back in January. The model in question is powered by a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine and it’s producing a total output of 460 HP (343 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 630 Nm of torque (465 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm. The 0 to 60 mph sprint is done in less than 4 seconds and the unit is mated to a seven-speed transmission, sending power to the rear wheels.
