Chevrolet has recently announced the official starting price of the new Corvette Stingray in Italy, which has been set at 70,990 euros.
Just days after the official starting price of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette has been announced across the Old Continent, more and more markets are making the sports car’s price public. One of these markets is Italy, where the 2014 Corvette Stingray is now available from 70,990 euros. Just like the Corvette offered for sale in Germany or in the United Kingdom, the model aimed towards Italy is also fitted with the Z51 Performance package as standard, adding the bigger brakes, wheels, specific performance gear ratio, electronic limited slip differential and more.
Power to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette is still being provided by the 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 460 HP (343 kW), available at 6,000 rpm, and 630 Nm of torque (465 lb-ft), available from 4,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed manual transmission which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 4 seconds. The new Corvette generation is also coming with new aero kit, spring and stabilizer bars, performance shocks and more.
