The brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette will be unveiled Sunday, the 13th of January 2013, ahead of the models public debut scheduled for the 2013 NAIAS in Detroit.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is getting closer and closer to hitting the showrooms and attracting more buyers into the brand. The North American based automaker has recently announced its intention to pull the wraps off the 2014 Corvette on Sunday, the 13th of January, at 7 p.m. EST, one day before the model will be officially presented to the public at NAIAS, in Detroit.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette will be powered by the LT1 V8 6.2 liter engine, with CVVT (continuously variable valve timing) and direct injection, which should produce a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). The new sports car generation should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 3 seconds and the model should return 26+ mpg on the highway (US).
