The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently announced the production start of the 2014 Impala, in Ontario, Oshawa.
According to the car manufacturer, the first unit of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala has just rolled off the assembly line in the facility. The tenth generation of the Chevrolet Impala will also be produced at the GM Detroit Hamtramck plant, besides the one in the Canadian territory.
“The all-new Impala demonstrates the new direction of Chevrolet. Our employees in Oshawa have executed a flawless plan in bringing this iconic nameplate to life. The newly redesigned Impala will exceed customers’ expectations because of the hard work of our employees at Oshawa Assembly”, said the president and managing director of General Motors Canada, Kevin Williams.
The 2014 Chevrolet Impala is available with a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder with eAssist mild hybrid technology and with the 3.6 liter V6 unit. The new Impala generation is coming with features such as the ten airbags, the Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control and more. The 2014 Impala also has the MyLink radio, in-vehicle entertainment system with a customizable eight-inch color display screen and more.
