The North American based automaker Chevrolet has recently announced the official starting price of the 2014 Impala, a few months before the model will go on sale locally.
According to the car manufacturer, future customers of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala will have to pay at least 27,535 USD for the base entry-level version before being able to drive it home. The redesigned Impala is being offered with a four-cylinder engine, with a new 2.5 liter unit producing a total output of 195 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque (253 Nm) and with a 2.4 liter engine with the GM eAssist “mini hybrid” system, generating 182 HP.
Besides the units mentioned above, Chevrolet is also offering a 3.6 liter V6 unit, which is developing a total output of 305 HP and 264 lb-ft of torque (358 Nm) on the new Impala. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission in standard. Prices for the V6 will start at 30,760 USD for the LT and at 36,580 USD for the LTZ. The platform of the tenth Impala generation is underpinning the new Cadillac ATS. The 2014 Chevrolet Impala will go on sale in the United States in spring 2013, and more details on the model will be announced then.
