The new generation of the Chevrolet Silverado has been recently unveiled by the car manufacturer in the United States.
Along with the brand new GMC Sierra, the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado has also made its public debut. The model is getting a more muscular and more aerodynamic design. The front fascia of the pickup truck has been engineered to improve the cooling and the roof and tailgate spoiler have been shaped in a wind tunnel. The model is getting a full-width bumper, a twin-port grille and dual power dome hood. The lines are continued to its sides and fender flares.
The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is getting the same engine lineup as the GMC Sierra, the 4.3 liter V6, the 5.3 liter V8 and the 6.2 liter V8, but no power or torque figures have been announced yet. Safety features available for the new Silverado include the Active Safety Seat, the Lane Departure Warning, the Forward Collision Allert, the StabiliTrak with Trailer Sway Control, the Hill Start Assist, the Rear Park Assist and more. The production of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will begin in the second quarter of 2013. More details on the model, including its price list, will be announced close to its launch.
