2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray smiles from Amelia Island
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has recently made its first visit to the Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance over the weekend.
After we have seen it for the first time a couple of months ago, in a world premiere, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, the new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2014 Stingray, is entering our news once again, this time from the Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance. The 2014 Corvette was joined by previous generations of the popular sports car and the model managed to attract quite a few looks.
As a quick reminder, the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is powered by the 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and it has a peak torque of 450 lb-ft (609 Nm). The unit is coming with direct injection and CVVT. The new Corvette Stingray can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds.
