Chevrolet has recently announced the official starting price of the 2014 Malibu in the United States, where the model is now available to its future customers from 22, 965 USD.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu actually costs 160 USD more than the 2013 model year but the facelifted version can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its more aggressive front fascia with prominent front grille and additional chrome trim. The cabin of the model has been also upgraded and this now has improved front seats, more comfortable rear seats and a new center console, amongst others.
Power to the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu is being provided by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 196 HP (145 kW) and 253 Nm of torque (186 lb-ft). The unit is getting a stop / start system which is helping it return an estimated 25 / 36 mph in city / highway. There is also an optional 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine available for the model, which is now producing a total output of 259 HP (193 kW) and 400 Nm of torque (295 lb-ft). Prices for the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu have been set at 22,965 USD.
