The North American based automotive giant General Motors is planning to officially unveil the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe / Suburban and the 2014 GMC Yukon / Yukon XL at the Texas State Fair.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but according to the guys at thetruthaboutcars.com, GM is planning to introduce the 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe / Suburban, along with the 2014 GMC Yukon / Yukon XL, next month, during the 2013 Texas State Fair. The full-size SUVs will make their global debut at the annual event but an undisclosed source is saying that the 2014 GMC Yukon / Yukon XL might be introduced within a year of September 20th.
The brand new 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe / Suburban and the 2014 GMC Yukon / Yukon XL are expected to be heavily influenced by the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra and rumors are saying that the engine lineup might include the 4.3 liter EcoTec3 V6, producing a total output of 285 HP (212 kW) and 413 Nm of torque (305 lb-ft), the 5.3L EcoTec3 V6, with 355 HP (265 kW) and 518 Nm (383 lb-ft) and the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, generating 420 HP (313 kW) and 609 Nm (450 lb-ft). More details on the models will be announced at the Texas State Fair, on September 27.
