2014 Corvette Stingray crashed in the U.S. image

A brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been recently crashed in the United States by a Lincoln Town Car, and the incident caused some damage on the passenger side.

We have always said here on inautonews.com that where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from the United States, where a brand new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Corvette Blogger, the model in question has been hit by a Lincoln Town Car and the incident is probably weather related considering the fact that the road was wet. Our source isn’t saying if the Corvette owner was to blame.

As a quick reminder, the new Corvette generation has been priced from just over 50,000 USD over-seas, while in the United Kingdom, prices for the muscle car will be set at 61,500 GBP. The vehicle is powered, in both markets, by the same 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is good for 460 BHP (343 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 630 Nm of torque (465 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed manual transmission with active rev matching. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint is done in less than 4 seconds.

The corvette is in a class of its own and always have been, it has no business having tail lights resembling the back of a comaro, thats the only thing I hate about it. I have a 2000 (C5), I plan to trade it for a C6, not a C7.
