The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S600 has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 NAIAS, in a world premiere.
Following a series of spy photos and leaked images, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz 600 has recently made its public debut, during the Detroit Motor Show. The model in question is available only in the long wheelbase version and it’s coming with features such as the Magic Body Control, the LED Intelligent Light System, the Driving Assistance Plus package, the Active Blind Spot Assist, the Active Lane Keeping Assist, the BAS PLUS with Cross-Traffic Assist and much more.

Our customers in North America and Asia in particular will enjoy this new top model with its exciting V12 engine”, said Ola Kallenius, the company’s VP of Sales and Marketing.
Some of the other goodies available for this model include the head-up display, the Collision Prevention Assist, the adaptive Brake Assist system, the electric windscreen heating, which is working in conjunction with the air conditioning blower to ensure a clear windscreen at sub-zero temperatures and much more.
Power to the new Mercedes-Benz S600 is being provided by a 6.0 liter V12 twin turbo engine, which is developing a total output of 530 HP (390 kW) and it has a peak torque of 830 nm (612 lb-ft) of torque. The average fuel consumption of the luxurious car stands at 11.1 L every 100 km (25.4 mpg UK / 21.1 mpg US). No performance specifications have been announced yet. The “600” name has been used previously by the German based automaker, back in 1963, when the first 600 passenger car, the W 100, was launched.
The brand new 2015 Mercedes-Benz S600 will go on sale this March. Prices will be announced close to its launch.
