The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit.
Following a series of teaser images and leaked photos, the brand new Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept has been finally unveiled during the over-seas automotive event, which is taking place these days in Detroit. The model in question has been named after a famous turn at Spa-Francorchamps and it has some Formula One looks and technology. The vehicle has received an aerodynamic body kit with carbon fiber parts, an F1 derived brake light, red brake calipers and 21-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
The interior design of the car is getting a two-tone red and black look, with different seats, a redesigned steering wheel and red carbon fiber accents. As far as the engine goes, this part remains unknown because Nissan’s luxury brand declined to go into specifics, but we do know that the high performance Q50 would get more than 500 HP (373 kW) and 812 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque if it should hit the production line. More details on the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept remain unknown for the moment.
