Ford has officially introduced the new generation of the Mustang GT during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, in a premiere.
Officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, the new generation of the Ford Mustang is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of the 2014 Detroit Motor Show, which has hosted its public debut. The new muscle car’s generation has chosen the top of the line Mustang GT for the automotive event which has a new integral link independent rear suspension system, a new stability control system as well as improved handling.
One of the most important items is found under its hood where the 2015 Ford Mustang GT has a 5.0 liter V8 unit, producing a total output of 420 HP (313 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque. Other version also have a 3.7 liter V6, which is being offered on the base entry-level model, with its 300 HP (223 kW) and 365 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque. The mid-range variant is getting a 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, producing 305 HP (227 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque. All engines will become available with updated manual and automatic transmissions.
