The 2014th edition of the Detroit Motor Show has hosted the world premiere of the brand new Cadillac ATS Coupe.
The model in question has been previously announced for the North American automotive event by the official website and now we finally get to see it in the flesh, after the carmaker has officially pulled the wraps off its body. The new Cadillac ATS Coupe is looking rather conservative and it’s riding on the same 2,775 mm (109.3-inch) long wheelbase as the four-door version, but getting some unique body work like the rear fenders, the doors, the trunk and some other parts.
There is also a new front fascia on the two-door Cadillac ATS, along with a revised grille. The interior is said to get leather upholstery, aluminum, carbon fiber or wood trim, decorative stitching, Bose audio system, a Wi-Fi hot spot, CUE infotainment system, GPS navigation, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and much more.
The engine lineup will include the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, with its 272 HP (203 kW) And 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, along with the 3.6 liter V6, producing 321 HP (239 kW) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission options will include the 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. RWD comes as standard and AWD is available as an option. The Cadillac ATS Coupe will go on sale this summer.
