Kia has officially pulled the wraps off the new GT4 Stinger Concept over-seas, during the 2014 NAIAS, in Detroit, in a world premiere.
Following its online unveiled from just a couple of days ago, the new Kia GT4 Stinger Concept is ending up in our news once again, this time with the model making its public debut, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The vehicle is a rear-wheel drive 2-2 sports coupe which is taking its power from a 2.0 liter turbocharged direct injected gasoline T-GDI engine, producing 315 HP (235 kW). The unit is mated to a six-speed close ration manual transmission.
The Kia GT4 Stinger stands at 169.7 inches in length, at 74.4 inches in width and 49.2 inches in height, riding on a 103.1-inch wheelbase weighing 1,303 kg (2874 lbs). Some of its similarities include the long hood, the low vertical headlights with LED daytime running lights, the see-through A-pillars, the bulging wheel arches or the dual exhaust arrangement. The cabin has received the racing like bucket seats, the red stitched pull straps on the door handles, the red LED illuminated panel, billet aluminum pedals and others. Kia is planning a rear-wheel drive coupe so a production version of this model is likely.
