The British based automaker MINI has officially unveiled the John Cooper Works Concept during the 2014 Detroit Motor Show, in a premiere.
MINI has already announced the premiere of the new JCW Concept at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit, just a month ago, and now the model in question is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the vehicle being officially unveiled.
“The MINI John Cooper Works Concept offers a look ahead to the next generation of the elite sports model”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
The MINI John Cooper Works Concept has been finished in Bright Highways Grey, which is complemented by the JCW hallmarks like the contrasting red on the roof, the exterior mirror caps and the roof spoiler. There are also some Sport Stripes in Chili Red for the bonnet and boot lid and white finish for the roof. The model in question is also getting large air intakes, LED headlights, a black surround for the front grille, an aerodynamic body kit, specific for JCW and 18-inch John Cooper Works light alloy wheels, in a new design. More details on the new MINI JCW Concept remain unknown for the moment.
