2014 Detroit Motor Show: Nissan Sport Sedan Concept image

Nissan has officially unveiled its newest creation, the Sport Sedan Concept, in Detroit, following a series of teaser images.

The brand new Nissan Sport Sedan Concept has been officially unveiled and the model in question has been designed to offer a first preview of an upcoming production car. The vehicle has a V-motion front fascia, boomerang shaped LED headlights, a floating roof, an Amber exterior, 21-inch aluminum wheels, a two-tone interior design, quilted leather seats, metallic trim, a sport steering wheel, a floating center stack, a futuristic infotainment system and some other tweaks.

“The Sport Sedan Concept shows a new, highly emotional and energetic design direction that takes Nissan’s legendary approach of applying sports car principles to a sedan to the next level. The Sport Sedan Concept captures that essence with authentic sports car design and proportions”, said Andy Palmer, the Nissan executive vice president.

Power to the new Nissan Sport Sedan Concept is being provided by a 3.6 liter V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 300 HP (223 kW). Sadly the Japanese based automaker declined to go into specifics when it comes to the model in question but we do know that the unit is mated to a CVT Xtronic which has been sport-tuned. Additional details on the Sport Sedan Concept will probably be announced at a future automotive event.
