Dodge has pulled the wraps off the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker recently, during the 2013 SEMA Motor Show, where the muscle car has been unveiled in a premiere.
The newest version of the Dodge Challenger is named the R/T Shaker and the model in question has been inspired by the 1970 Challenger R/T. The special edition is getting a body color grille surround, satin black accents, the “shaker” hood, a black fuel filler door and some 20-inch aluminum wheels, wrapped win Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Car tires. The cabin of the model has received the individually numbered dash plaque, the Nappa leather sport seats, aluminum pistol-grip shifter, flat-bottom steering wheel and a K-Black painted instrument panel.
The model in question has also received the upgraded brake lines, the monotube shock absorbers or three three-mode electronic stability control system in the Super Track Pak. According to the North American based automaker, the 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker is taking its power from a 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine, which is getting the optimized air box, the conical air filter and the Mopar cold-air intake. Dodge says that the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker will go on sale from early 2014 and the model will get an official starting price of just 36,995 USD.
