Power to the model is being provided by the same turbocharged 1.4 liter MultiAir turbo four-cylinder unit from the 500 Abarth and from the Dodge Dart, which is producing a total output of 160 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque. The unit is mated to a six-speed manual or to a dual-clutch transmission.
The Fiat 500L is being offered with features like the 17-inch alloy wheels, black exterior accents, the Chrysler Uconnect 5.0 infotainment system, the larger touch screen audio and more. The Fiat 500L is expected to end up in the company’s dealers in mid-2013. Additional details on the Fiat 500L will be announced probably close to its launch.
