Ford has recently unveiled the 2014 F-150 Tremor, which should go on sale across the country later on this year.
According to the North American based automaker, the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor is actually based on the short wheelbase version of the regular cab and the model has been equipped with an FX Appearance Package, adding features like the 20-inch flat black alloy wheels, or the body graphics, and fitted with HID headlights. The cabin of the model has Alcantara / black leather seats, the MyFord Touch infotainment system, brushed metal accents and a different center console, amongst others.
“The new Tremor gives F-150 customers yet another option to drive a highly capable, distinctive performance truck with features typically found only in the aftermarket. Plus, the Built Ford Tough EcoBoost engine is available for the first time in a short-wheelbase F-150”, said the F-150 product marketing manager, Brian Bell.
The Ford F-150- Tremor is powered by a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 365 HP (272 kW) and it has a peak torque of 568 Nm (420 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is offered as standard but you can order the all-wheel drive too, as an option. The model will go on sale this autumn. Additional details on it will be announced soon.
