The North American based automaker Ford has recently released the fuel economy figures for the U.S. version of the 2014 Fiesta ST.
After it was officially presented to the public back in late 2012, during the Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2014 Ford Fiesta is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker announcing its official fuel economy figures. The 2014 Ford Fiesta ST is able to return 26 / 35 / 29 mpg in city / highway / combined. These figures should be enough to attract more customers into choosing the popular B-segment hot hatch signed by the Blue Oval.
As a quick reminder, the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST is powered by a 1.6 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 197 HP (147 kW) and it has a peak torque of 290 Nm (214 lb-ft). The five-door vehicle’s engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The model has a new front grille and chin spoiler, an updated diffuser, dual exhaust setup, high mounted spoiler, 17-inch alloy wheels and it sits 15mm lower than the standard version.
