The fastest street legal Abarth ever, the 695 Biposto, has been officially presented to the public in a premiere, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The new pocket rocket has been equipped with only two seats and it has fixed front windows with polycarbonate sliding panels, Zender signed front and rear bumpers, wheel arches, side skirts and spoilers, some other specific kits, like the 124 Speciale Kit, the Carbon Kit or the Pista Kit, which are providing some different racing features.
The Abarth 695 Biposto has been also equipped with a Brembo braking system, with a rear titanium roll bar, signed by Poggipolini, with 18-inch OZ rims, Sabelt seats with four-point seatbelts, an Akrapovic exhaust system and Extreme Shox adjustable shock absorbers. The most important part of this model is found under its hood where the 1.4 liter T-Jet engine is resting. The unit is producing a total output of 190 HP. This is allowing the 997 kg weighing small vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). Abarth didn’t announce how many units of the 695 Biposto will be produced or what the cost of these models will be.
