2014 Geneva Motor Show: Citroen C4 Cactus goes official

The new Citroen C4 Cactus has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere.

Citroen has brought its new C4 Cactus to the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show, where the model in question has shared the same space with more models produce by the company, including the new C1 generation, amongst others. The Citroen C4 Cactus has received a distinctive front fascia, some plastic body cladding, a panoramic glass roof, Airbumps, which can absorb low speed impacts and some other tweaks, which should help it become quite popular, with its future buyers.

The cabin of this vehicle is getting a 7-inch display for the infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, sofa-style seats, some metallic accents, gloss black trim and the leather straps which act as door handles. Power to the new Citroen C4 Cactus will be provided by a choice of five engines, the 75 HP (55 kW) and 118 Nm (87 lb-ft) of torque VTi, the 82 HP (60 kW) and 118 Nm (87 lb-ft) of torque VTi, the 110 HP (81 kW) and 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque e-THP, the 92 HP (68 kW) and 230 Nm (169 lb-ft) e-HDi and the 100 HP (73 kW) and 254 Nm (187 lb-ft) BlueHDi.
