ABT has officially presented the new RS6-R at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
The aftermarket specialists at ABT have officially pulled the wraps off the new Audi RS6-R during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is based on the Audi RS6 Avant and it has received a series of updates which make it look more aggressive. Some parts of the body have been constructed out of carbon fiber and they include the side skirt attachments with side blades, the air inlet covers, the front lip with the side blades and so on. The powerful estate also has fender inserts, different side mirror caps and a rear spoiler, to complete its look.
The Audi RS6-R ABT is taking its power from a 4.0 liter V8 engine. The total output of the unit stands at an impressive 730 HP (537 kW) and a peak torque of 920 Nm (628 lb-ft). This is more than most supercars nowadays are getting and the standard vehicle has 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The extra performance is coming from the ABT Engine Control unit, specially adapted stainless steel exhaust system and specially developed software.
