The facelifted version of the BMW X3 has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The German based automaker BMW has introduced the facelifted version of the X3 at the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show. The model in question has been already unveiled almost a month ago, but its presence in Switzerland, during the automotive event, has marked its public debut. The updated version of the BMW X3 has received new bumpers, different grille, updated headlights, redesigned side mirrors, new alloy wheels and others.
The cabin of the small SAV is coming with revised upholstery, with updated trim, gloss black accents, new cup holders, upgraded infotainment system, iDrive controller integrated. BMW is offering the updated X3 in the xDrive18d and in the xDrive20d, which are powered by the new 2.0 liter diesel engine generation. The first one has 150 HP and 360 Nm of torque, while the other is offered with 190 HP and 400 Nm of torque. Both models are coming with a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic transmission. In the xDrive30d, the model has a 3.0L turbocharged six-cylinder unit, with 258 HP and 560 Nm of torque, while the xDrive35d has the same engine, but this is rated at 313 HP and 630 Nm of torque. Petrol options include the sDrive20i, the xDrive20i, the xDrive28i and the xDrive35i.
