The new Citroen C5 Cross Tourer has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
The Citroen C5 Cross Tourer basically represents the company expanding the C5 lineup with an “all-road” version which, keeping the proportions in mind, can be compared to Audi’s Allroad. The model in question is getting some 18-inch alloy wheels, an all-road design with some wing extensions, chrome finished side mirror housings, protective fairing on the front and on the rear bumpers, matte grey roof bars and some other tweaks which help it differentiate from its brother.
Citroen has also fitted the new C5 Cross Tourer with a rearview camera, with the eMyWay navigation system and it’s offered in two trim levels, the Millenium and the Exclusive. The vehicle has a 15mm higher ground clearance, at up to 70 km/h for the Hydractive III+ suspension and the Intelligent Traction control, amongst others. The engine lineup includes some diesels, ranging between 115 HP and 200 HP. Prices for the new Citroen C5 Cross Tourer will start at 31,950 euros, once the model will become available for order. Additional details on the model will probably be announced close to its launch.
