The new Honda Civic Type R Concept has been officially unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, following an early leak from just a couple of days ago.
Honda’s newest creation is named the Civic Type R and this is basically a concept which will preview the upcoming production model. The car manufacturer didn’t have much to say about the one-off vehicle except the fact that it has been fitted with an aggressive body kit, which is made out of new front and rear bumpers, aerodynamic side skirts, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, ventilated hood, extended fenders, rear spoiler and much more.
The Honda Civic Type R Concept is also coming with LED infused headlights, with a four-tailpipe exhaust system and with others, which will help it differentiate from the standard hatchback. Power is being provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 280 HP (206 kW). Additional details on this one-off Honda Civic Type R vehicle are currently limited for the moment and will probably be announced by the company during a future automotive event.
