Skoda has officially introduced the new Octavia Scout and the VisionC Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
The Skoda Octavia Scout, in its new generation, has already been announced for the Swiss automotive event almost a month ago. The model in question has an SUV-inspired styling, larger front and rear bumpers, new fog lights, wider air intakes, extended wheel arches, protective side moldings and more. The new Octavia Scout has received an all-wheel drive system and a ride height which has been raised by 33mm. The vehicle is riding on 17-inch alloy wheels and it’s said to come with two diesel and one petrol engines.
Skoda has also unveiled the impressive VisionC Concept. The model has been apparently influenced by the Audi A7 Sportback and it’s riding on the MQB platform. Its cabin will serve as a future for the company’s models as it has four individual seats, a touch screen multimedia in the center of the dashboard, a fully customizable 3D display in front of the driver and more. Power to this one-off vehicle is being provided by a 1.4 liter four-cylinder TSI engine, which is good for 110 HP (81 kW) and it can reach a top speed of 214 km/h (133 mph). The unit is Euro 6 compliant and it’s emitting 91 g/km of CO2.
