The Subaru Viziv 2 Concept has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show.
Subaru has unveiled the first Viziv Concept just a year ago and now we get to see the Viziv 2 Concept live from Geneva, as the model in question has managed to attract a lot of curious eyes, thanks to its impressive design, which is highlighted by the hexagonal grille, the headlights, the hexagonal shape of the body which is repeated in the rear, the taillights and so on.
The new Subaru Viziv 2 Concept can integrate what seem to be opposing elements, like the “design and utility” and the environmental friendliness and driving performance” at a high level. The interior design of the model has been created in order to suit four passengers. The one-off vehicle has been equipped with a 1.6 liter direct injected turbocharged engine, which is backed up by a front motor and two rear motors, sending power to the wheels through a Lineatronic CVT.
The Subaru Viziv 2 Concept has an independent rear motor driven symmetrical AWD system, as the carmaker is saying, which is actually previewing the next generation of the Subaru all-wheel drive system. The company says that this will improve the driveability. More details on the newly unveiled Viziv 2 Concept are limited for the moment and will probably be released during a future automotive event.
